    Cal State Fullerton students are taking part in the "Light It Up Blue" worldwide campaign to support autism awareness, lighting up the Titan Student Union with a "flip the switch" ceremony at sundown Monday, April 2. A movie screening and panel discussion also are scheduled during the month.

  • Children's Center Receives Federal Grant

    A U.S. Department of Education grant is helping parents of small children complete college -- by funding their children's daycare needs. "It's a tremendous help for those parents who couldn't afford to send their children to daycare otherwise," said Jenny Taylor, director of Cal State Fullerton's Children Center, and co-recipient of the federal Child Care Access Means Parents in School, or CCAMPIS, grant.

  • Ride Share Program Coming to Fullerton

    Soon students will be able to hop on a bike to get to and from the university, the store or, perhaps, even to their favorite Friday night hangout, through a program of bike sharing that is being instituted around the city of Fullerton. A $700,000 federal grant awarded to the Orange County Transportation Authority will underwrite the pilot program, the first such citywide effort within the state of California, said Wes Parsel of the OCTA.
