March 21 Panel Discussion on Election

What: 

The publisher of FlashReport, a website dedicated to advancing the conservative cause, and the editor of OC Weekly, an alternative newspaper dedicated to providing a provocative look at Orange County news, politics and entertainment, will discuss their views on this year's primary elections during a March 21 panel discussion at Cal State Fullerton. The event is free and open to the public.

Who:  

The panelists are CSUF alumnus Jon Fleischman (B.A. political science '02), founder and publisher of FlashReport and Gustavo Arellano, CSUF lecturer in Chicana and Chicano studies and editor of OC Weekly. Joining Fleischman and Arellano on the panel will be Matthew G. Jarvis, CSUF assistant professor of political science. The panel moderator is Sarah A. Hill, CSUF associate professor of political science.

Why:

“This event is part of our CSUF Votes campaign to engage our campus community in the election process,” said Frances Teves, director of CSUF state relations and advocacy. “Our speakers will, undoubtedly, contribute to a lively and engaging discussion regarding the primaries and the issues that have emerged in this current election. We are thrilled to have Jon and Gustavo take part in this panel discussion.”
