Alumni, Industry Leaders to Serve as Professors for a Day March 6-7

What: Cal State Fullerton’s College of Engineering and Computer Science will hold “Professor For A Day” March 6-7 with industry professionals, including alumni, participating as guest lecturers. More than 30 professionals will share their successes and stories with students, and offer insights and inspiration about careers in engineering and computer science fields. The event also promotes careers in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), one of the university’s initiatives to increase student interest in these disciplines.
When: Tuesday, March 6 and Wednesday, March 7
Guest lectures at 10 a.m., 1 p.m., 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. both days

Who: Corporations represented are among the leading employers of technicians, engineers and computer scientists throughout California and worldwide, including: Boeing Co., Disneyland Resort, IBM, KOR Electronics, Motorola, Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems, Raytheon Co., Southern California Edison and Toshiba America Information Systems Inc.
