Noted primatologist to speak on ape cognition
Volker Sommer, professor of evolutionary anthropology at University College London, to address “Mind-Less Apes or Ape-Like Minds: What Can We Know About Primate Cognition?” He will review ape mental abilities and primate research focusing on flexible social systems, cooperation and competition, and tool use.
