First Day of Instruction for Spring
Arrives Monday at Cal State Fullerton
What: |
Spring semester classes begin Monday, Feb. 2,
at Cal State Fullerton with a wide range of activities to welcome
students. Students are expected at the university’s multiple
sites, including online, as well as in classrooms equipped for
televised instruction. |
|
|
Enrollment: |
Opening-day enrollment is projected to be 29,436
— 220 fewer students than arrived for the first day of
spring 2003. If the typical pattern holds, enrollment should
rise in the coming weeks. Last spring, enrollment climbed from
the opening-day figure of 29,656 to 31,543 by census, six weeks
after the semester had begun. The opening-day projection includes
more than 3,400 students who have enrolled for classes at the
university’s El Toro Campus. |
|
|
Where: |
In addition to the main campus in Fullerton and
El Toro Campus, students are taking for-credit courses at the
Irvine Spectrum (for M.B.A. candidates) and the CSUF Garden
Grove Center. Extension classes are offered at the Garden Grove
and Irvine Spectrum sites, as well as on the main campus. |
