Background: |
Praised by critics for her “mastery of
the instrument” with “great warmth and beauty,”
cellist Bongshin Ko has appeared worldwide
as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed at music
festivals throughout the world, including Schleswig-Holstein
Musik Festival, Kronberg Cello Festival, American Cello Congress
and Seoul International Music Festival. In 1997 she was selected
to perform European and Asian premieres of Rands concerto, which
was composed and dedicated to cellist/conductor Mstislav Rostroprovich’s
in honor of his 70th birthday. |
