From Disney to Death, Latest Books Focus on Myriad Topics

A legendary singer's social and political activism, the power of the Disney brand, the history of the death penalty and Romanian mythology are a few of the topics tackled in books written by Cal State Fullerton's faculty members. The authors — Gordon M. Bakken, Genelle Belmas, Gayle K. Brunelle, Jochen Burgtorf, Drew Chappell, Amy Cox-Petersen, Rebecca Dolhinow, Robert H. Gass, Dipasri Ghosh, Tim Green, Juan R. Ishikawa, Karen Ivers, Kristi Kanel, Sharon Kim, Cindy King, Jeffrey A. Kottler, Laura Lohman, Robert Michaels, Helen N. Mugambi, Wayne Overbeck, C. George Peale, Irena Praitis, Maijian Qian, Shay Sayre, Andi Stein, Bogdan Suceavă, Kim Vandervort, Kathleen K. Wright, Samuel C. Yang, Hallie Kay Yopp and Ruth Helen Yopp — recently were honored by the university for their books, published in 2010 and 2011.
