BUILDING & ROAD MAINTENANCE —

CLASSROOM RENOVATIONS
& UPGRADES — $600,000

The university spent roughly $1.4 million on building and road maintenance. This includes routine maintenance of heating and cooling systems, electrical systems, plumbing, painting, custodial services, auto repair, elevator repair, energy management controls, etc. for both Fullerton and Irvine campuses. The campus spent about $600,000 on classroom refurbishments. DEFERRED MAINTENANCE —
$2.4 million

About $2.4 million was spent on painting the exteriors of buildings, re-roofing, major heating and cooling system overhauls, asbestos abatement, restroom upgrades and maintenance of walkways. (Source: Willem van der Pol, Physical Plant)
