What did you expect from your travels?
There were several things I knew would happen: to be
taken out of my comfort zone; to see my country through the eyes of another; culture shock; to learn a few things about myself I never would have noticed if I was home.

What did you actually experience?
I learned something new about me every day. I have learned to become a much more patient person, with having roommates from all over the U.S. and being a newcomer in a new country.

How have you been changed by your experience?
I would encourage everyone to do this. I never let fear get in the way of what I want, but I think that happens to many of us. Fear should never stop you from doing things like this. It should be your motivation.
