The Performing Arts Center is 109,000 square feet of performances, rehearsal, laboratory and technical space in four discipline-specific performance spaces (theater, dance, music and musical theater). More than 100 donors have made contributions totalling about $2.5 million in support of the $48.5 million building. "We wanted the building to have movements," says William Murray of Pfeiffer Partners, architect of the project. "You feel as if you are moving when you are looking at it. The roofline moves as you move past it. There is a dialog between inside and outside."
