The Millie & Dale Hallberg Theatre is a black box theatre that features flexible seating for experimental productions and new plays. During the gala opening weekend, the original cast of the award-winning production of "Grassmere" reunited to perform in the new facility. Playwright Kristina Leach was voted "Best in Festival for Playwrighting" at the 34th regional Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival following the work's premiere in 2001.
