Letters From Teachers:
|
Todd W. Taylor :Awsome students inspire me to teachI remain in the classroom simply because it matters. After graduating from Cal State Fullertonís teaching program 16 years ago, I have had the privilege of working with some pretty awesome students. I have seen the odds stacked against many students who faced poverty, broken homes, academic challenges and peer pressure that would make most of us bend, if not quit. As a teacher I not only have had to wear the hat of an instructor, but also become a father figure, counselor, mentor, servant, coach, policeman, administrator and ‚ most importantly ‚ one who inspires faith. I pray that God will help me to be worthy of such a noble profession and that I will leave a positive, indelible mark on each life I encounter. I have learned that experience is the best teacher and that working with middle school students is a total blast. Todd W. Taylor,
