Second Graduate Forum Addresses Benefits of DiversityThe advancement of minority postbaccalaureate students “is not only critical to the local context but directly tied to the nation’s educational prosperity,” says Silas H. Promoting diversity in higher education can shrink the achievement gap, the differences in academic performance among groups of students identified by ethnicity and income.
