Once contracted in the university’s Army ROTC program, cadets prepare to complete their degrees and become officers.
“These students commit eight years of their lives after graduation to the Army, which changes mission and focus often based on our country's needs,” said Lt. Col. Billy Howard, the program’s coordinator. “America benefits because these educated, well-trained students are sent to defend this country and our freedom.”
There are more than 90 cadets enrolled in the ROTC program, one of the largest in Southern California.
