Campus Welcomes Its Alums to Homecoming 2008

Festivities Include Tailgate Party and Basketball Game

Titans! Come one, come all to the university’s annual Homecoming festivities Saturday, Feb. 16.

The event kicks off with the alumni association’s annual meeting in the Golleher Alumni House with snacks, beverages, a pre-game “Chalk Talk,” performances by the university’s dance team and cheer squad. The meeting begins at 1 p.m.

The fun continues at 2 p.m. with a tailgate party featuring a barbecue meal, student and alumni booths, sale of CSUF gear and a photo with Tuffy Titan. For the pre-Titan crowd, there will be a bounce-house, face painting and other activities.

Cal State Fullerton’s Titan basketball team takes to the floor at 4:05 p.m. for a match-up with University of the Pacific. The game, to be televised on Fox Sports, will feature special halftime recognition of the NCAA Elite Eight 1977-78 men’s basketball team.
