Delgado Concert Benefits Student Pianists
Feb. 10 Program includes work by Bach and Schumann

Pianist Edward Delgado will perform selections of Bach, Guastavino, Schumann and Mussorgsky during a 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, concert in Cal State Fullerton’s Meng Concert Hall.
A member of Cal State Fullerton’s faculty since 1996, the professor of music has performed through his homeland of Argentia, Asia, Europe and the Americas and has collaborated with numerous esteemed musicians, including tenor Jose Cura and fellow pianists Marth Argerich and Alicia de Larrocha.
His work has been recognized with numerous awards including the Vladimir Horowitz Award and the UNESCO of Buenos Aires Medal for his contribution as an ambassador of music. He has received grants from the Mozarteum Argentino, Martha Baird Rockefeller Foundation and Concert Artists Guild.
Proceeds from the Feb. 10 concert will support a scholarship fund for pianists that Delgado established in tribute to Alicia de Larrocha.
