December 17, 2007
The Center for Careers in Teaching was established in 1998 and provides assistance to undergraduates in the College of Education’s credentialing programs. The center offers academic advisement for students planning careers in teaching elementary, middle and high schools, as well as special education.
Additionally, counseling support is available to future teachers currently attending one of the university’s partner community colleges and who plan to transfer to Cal State Fullerton. Currently, the center works with 57 area high schools and 20 community colleges.
Information about the university’s integrated teacher education and Freshman Future Teachers programs is available at the center.
The Center for Careers in Teaching is located in Room 113 of the Humanities-Social Sciences Building. For more information, call the center at 657-278-7130, Chris Renne, center director, at crenne@fullerton.edu or visit www.fullerton.edu/cct.
