Since 1991, faculty, staff and emeriti have contributed to the “It’s Our University” campaign in support of academic excellence in various areas of campus.
From its beginnings, IOU has aimed at encouraging campuswide investment in Cal State Fullerton’s future. This year, as the university celebrates a half century of service to the region and to the education of Orange County’s leaders and workers, is no different.
“The faculty, staff, and emeriti who participate in It’s Our University share my commitment to Cal State Fullerton’s mission to help support the future of the institution,” says Joseph H. Arnold, associate dean of the College of the Arts, and a 15-year contributor to the program.
Gifts can be made to a variety of areas from a general donation to a specific academic department, program or fund — such as student scholarships or professional development for faculty and staff, to provide supplemental funding for the acquisition of equipment necessary during an emergency or classroom refurbishment. A comprehensive list can be found at http://www.fullerton.edu/supportCSUF/designations.htm.
Contributions may be made by check, credit card or through payroll deduction. For more information, call Melissa Cohea of University advancement at 278-4446 or mcohea@fullerton.edu.
