Spring Dance Theatre Opens

Students, Alumni and Faculty Take Part in May 6-16 Offering

May 4, 2010

Students, alumni and dance faculty members will be striving to explore the human spirit through themes of fate, destiny, joy, and the distinction between truth and fiction during the Spring Dance Theatre opening May 6.

Eight dance selections will be performed during the annual program that runs through May 16 in the Little theatre of the Clayes Performing Arts Center.

Among the selections is a creation of student choreographer Cole Clemens, who explores the “random and crazy adventures of Alice” in a revamp of Louis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. Other choreographers include Cassie Cole, Mohgahn Ememjomeh, Joshua Romero, Gladys Kares, Robin E. Johnson, Sara Vince and Macarena Gandaillas.

Admission tickets are $10 ($9 with advance Titan discount purchase for students, seniors or with a Cal State Fullerton ID. Tickets may be purchased at the box office, which is open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and one hour prior to performance. They also are available online. For more information, call 657-278-3371.
