Shea Homes Funds Scholarships for Irvine Students

Three students attending the Cal State Fullerton’s Irvine Campus are doing so thanks to scholarships provided by Shea Homes.
The scholarships were awarded based on enrollment and involvement, as well as academic achievement.
Spring 2010 recipients are:
- psychology major Junko Johnson, a member and officer of the campus Caring Students Helping Other Students who also serves on the Irvine Campus Legacies Advisory Committee. The mother of three is a member of Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Phi.
- sociology major Nicole Messerschmidt, who is president of Irvine Campus Caring SHOS.
Fall 2009 recipient:
- business administration-accounting major Kori Kurtz, a note taker for disabled student services and a member of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance student team.
