Annual CSUF/Fudan University Seminar Set for June

Applications are now being sought for faculty and staff member participation in the 14th annual CSUF/Fudan University seminar.
This year's seminar includes visits to Fudan University in Shanghai and visits to HangZhou and Suzhou. An optional extension includes travel to Beijing, Xi’an or Yangzi River Cruise.
Participants leave on June 3 and return June 12. While in China, they will participate in seminar discussions with faculty on such issues as higher education in China, foreign policy, urban growth and population management, economic transformations and cultural arts.
Participation is limited to 10-15 faculty and staff members and administrators. Approximate cost is $2,000 including air fare, visa, ground travel in China and extra meals and sightseeing not provided by the hosts.
Selection, by committee, is based on: • commitment to integrating Chinese and Asian topics and perspectives into the curriculum • commitment to improving campus service to international students based on experiences and knowledge gained • evidence of commitment to internationalizing the campus - either through past/current practices or plans for doing so in the future
