“A Matter of Edge: Border vs. Boundary at La Frontera” is the subject of a Thursday, April 29, talk sponsored by Cal State Fullerton’s Philosophy Department. It is open to the public free of charge.

Edward Casey, president of the American Philosophical Association and distinguished professor of philosophy at State University of New York, Stony Brook

Additional:
Casey will discuss the complex and evolving situation at La Frontera, the U.S.-Mexico border. His current research delves into “the character of edges in human experience.”

Casey’s books include “Getting Back into Place” (Indiana University Press, 1993) and “The Fate of Place” (University of California Press, 1997). He will talk about La Frontera’s history and present-day situation.

Parking:
On-campus parking is $8 per vehicle for the day. Short-term parking also is available. Parking lot and permit machine locations are posted online.
