Canned Food Drive at Game
Titan Supporters Can Win Vouchers for Big West Tournament Tickets
March 2, 2010
From Sports Information
The Big West Conference, in conjunction with its nine member schools, is conducting canned food drives the final week of the regular season in anticipation of the post-season basketball tournament that runs March 10-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Cal State Fullerton has designated its Thursday, March 4, nationally televised (ESPNU) men’s game against Pacific (8:05 p.m. tip off) as its designated “drive” game. Each fan who brings three cans of food to the game will be entered into a drawing for two vouchers for tickets to the Big West Tournament. The food contributions will be delivered to north Orange County food banks.
The drawings will occur at the media timeout after the 8-minute mark of the first half.
In addition, the Big West will donate additional cans of food and school supplies for every ticket for the Big West Tournament purchased at Titan Gym that night.
