Arboretum Hosts Green Scene April 17-18

Weekend gardens looking for new color for their backyards can find a wide variety of plants from the carnivorous to cactus, perennials to tropicals April 17-18 at the 36th annual Green Scene Plant and Garden Show at the Fullerton Arboretum.
Thousands of garden enthusiasts will be attendance checking out the stock of nearly 100 exhibitors interspersed throughout the Arboretum, as well as listening in to mini lectures on new ways to live grener and make earth-friendly choices in the home garden.
Sponsored in part by Kellogg Garden Products and Knowlwood Restaurants, Green Scene is the largest outdoor garden event in Orange County, says Mark Costello, manager of the Friends of the Fullerton Arboretum.
Green Scene will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Friends of the Fullerton Arboretum members can enter early, from 9-10 a.m. April 17; memberships are available at the door or online at www.fullertonarboretum.org.
