Neil Simon Comedy "Rumors" Opens Oct. 2

Four couples gathered for the 10th wedding anniversary of the deputy mayor of New York get more than they bargain for in the Neil Simon play “Rumors” opening Oct. 2 in the Young Theatre.

The deputy mayor shoots himself, his wife goes missing and the confusions pile up in this production directed by Kevin Slay and featuring students Jeff Martin as Ken, Eva Dailey as Chris, Collin Hurst as Lenny, Erica Sinner as Clair, Nick Rocz as Glenn, Ruby Hanger as Cassie, Alexandra Harris as Cookie, Jamie Livingston and Angelica Roque as the officers.

The production continues through Oct. 18. Tickets are available online or at the Joseph A.W. Clayes III Performing Arts Center box office, which is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and one hour prior to performance. For more information, call 657-278-3371.
