Faculty Recognized for Service to Students, University and Community
April 14, 2009
Cal State Fullerton honored more than one hundred faculty members for outstanding service to students, the university and the community during a special lunch program April 6.
The annual event was sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Faculty evelopment Center.
The honorees for service to students were recognized for activities outside the normal teaching responsibilities, including service to students in mentoring and advising. Recognition for service to the university includes activities for the department, program, school or collegial governance. Service to the external community included activities on a local, state, national and international level.
