Campus to Celebrate Global Career Resources and Opportunities

Cal State Fullerton celebrates International Education Week Nov. 17-21 with international films, special programs, workshops and information regarding study, career and travel abroad.
Schedule of activities:
Monday, Nov. 17
Noon-1 p.m. — Presentation on study abroad in Chile and Spain, Room 242 of University Hall
3-6 p.m. — Study abroad information booth, Cal State Fullerton Irvine Campus
6-6:45 p.m. — Study abroad application workshops, CSUF Irvine Campus
Tuesday, Nov. 18
Noon-1 p.m. — Information sessions on the Peace Corps, Room 244 of University Hall
3-4 p.m. — Peach Corps information session at CSUF Irvine Campus
7-10 p.m. — French film “L’auberge Espangole,” Room 121 of McCarthy Hall
Wednesday, Nov. 19
1-2 p.m. — International Coffee Break
Campus and community members can meet with international students at the Alpha Java kiosk between University Hall and the Humanities-Social Social Sciences Building. This is a weekly activity held throughout the semester.
2-4 p.m. — Study abroad application workshop, Room 242 of University Hall
7-10 p.m. — Italian film “Cia Professore!” Room 321 of Langsdorf Hall
Thursday, Nov. 20
all in Portola Pavilion of the Titan Student Union
11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. — presentation on working and volunteering abroad
1:30-3:30 p.m. — presentation on “H-1B (work visa) and Options After Optional Practical Training
4-6 p.m. — Phi Beta Delta holds hosts its semi-annual induction ceremony
Program includes a panel discussion on “International Career Opportunities and Funding Resources for Student Opportunities Abroad” and a reception.
7-10 p.m. — Noches Caribeñas (Caribbean Nights)
