The opening of the new $143 million student housing and dining complex — Cal State Fullerton's largest-ever construction project, known as Phase III — shows the changing face of the university. CSUF now provides housing for 1,900 students — more than doubling the campus's residential population.

“I know this facility is going to provide our current and future students with the living and learning environment they need to succeed at Cal State Fullerton and, ultimately, graduate,” CSUF President Milton A. Gordon said at a ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 16.
