Freshman Clyde Hill, a computer science major, said he and his classmates were
excited to hear what CSUF alumnus Michael Falkow, who works for the city of
Inglewood, had to say during the College of Engineering and Computer Science “Professor
for a Day” event Oct. 24-25. Hill said that Falkow, who earned his bachelor’s
and master’s degrees in computer science, widened their perspective about
their futures as computer science majors. “Everyone was hanging on his
words, word after word, because the knowledge he was giving was so priceless.
If there’s anything I learned from him, it’s that there’s
endless opportunities for computer science majors and that making every class
count is important,” Hill said. “I’m glad that Michael Falkow
came to class and spoke to us. …Personally, he gave me hope.” Pictured

Jodoin, a 1985 graduate who received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical
engineering, works at Disneyland Resort.
