As a guest lecturer, CSUF alumnus John Britigan of General Dynamics, presented an engineering seminar as part of “Professor for a Day” on Oct. 24. Also taking part in the second annual event was Kevin Gerrish, director of engineering and development at Sabtech Industries in Yorba Linda, who prepared a talk on an electro-optic laser detection system. Gerrish said his goal was also to give students ideas for their own career path. "I'm giving them some examples of how what's learned in the classroom can be applied to real world applications."
