Background: |
Professor of music and acclaimed pianist,
Eduardo Delgado, has international audiences and critics consistently
recognizing him for his fiery intensity projected from the
concert stage. This “rare musical personality”
(Sovietskaya Kultura, Moscow) has been the recipient of many
awards and prizes from the Vladimir Horowitz Award to the
Martha Baird Rockefeller Prize.
This faculty artist has appeared across four continents—Europe,
South America, Asia and North America, from New York to Tokyo
He has been on artist faculties of several universities in
Japan as well as in California, and is in demand for piano
master classes and workshops. Delgado is a member of Cal State
Fullerton’s Premiere Trio and has established a scholarship
fund for talented pianists as a tribute to the renowned pianist
Alicia de Larrocha. This recital is a benefit for the Alicia
de Larrocha scholarship fund.
