Emergency Evacuation Drill Planned
at Cal State Fullerton
October 7, 2004 :: No. 51
Cal State Fullerton will hold an evening evacuation
drill this month as part of its emergency preparation efforts. Since
2001, the university has practiced both evening and daytime drills
to help familiarize members of the campus community with evacuation
procedures.
Alarms will be activated and announcements made in
buildings equipped with loudspeakers. Faculty members are expected
to oversee the evacuation of students from their classrooms to designated
locations outside. The exercise will last about 20 minutes and conclude
with an all-clear message.
