New Acting Director of the Tri-County
Technology Small Business Development Center Named

California State University, Fullerton's College
of Business and Economics has named Diane Wirth as acting director
of the Tri-County Technology Small Business Development Center.
Wirth has more than 20 years of experience in business
development. She has been executive director of IEtechSource in
San Bernardino for the past year, was founder/president of Solutions
Works Inc. in Maryland, and served at one point as acting state
director of the Maryland Small Business Development Center.
The College of Business and Economics hosts the Tri-County
Technology Small Business Development Center under a contract with
the
U. S. Small Business Administration, and has been charged with providing
one-on-one business consulting, as well as training seminars, workshops
and conferences, for owners of high-tech, high-growth businesses
in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
The Tri-County Technology Small Business Development
Center is the only small-business development center nationwide
that focuses solely on technology-based companies. It is located
at the Orange County Business Council, 2 Park Plaza, Irvine.
Cal State Fullerton’s College of Business and
Economics operates one of the largest undergraduate business programs
in the nation with approximately 6,000 majors and more than 30,000
alumni. In addition to the main campus, courses are offered at the
Irvine Spectrum, El Toro Campus and CSUF Garden Grove Center to
meet the needs of the business community.
