Cal State Fullerton’s Mathematics, Engineering

State Fullerton and USC were chosen by JPL as the two Southern
California competition sites. Winners in this year’s Invention
Challenge, the Wright Turn Glider Contest, will compete in the
finals Dec. 5 at JPL in Pasadena. Competitors coming to Fullerton
will include students from Orange County schools, as well as
those from Lake Elsinore, Lakewood, Hawaiian Gardens, Carson,
Hacienda Heights and Venice. Teams will consist of four to seven
students each. Four engineers from Boeing, including CSUF engineering
alumnus Victor Vega, will assist with the competition. |
