September 4, 2003 :: No. 32

Mary Joyce, Harry R. Gianneschi Professor of Nonprofit Marketing at Cal State Fullerton, is one of the guest speakers on the roster for the American Institutes for Aeronautics and Astronautics Space 2003 Conference Sept. 23-25 at the Long Beach Convention Center.

Joyce is a scheduled panelist on “Developing a Strategy to Focus Outreach Resources for Results.” Moderator for the panel is Bill Ross, senior vice president of industry relations for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and a Cal State Fullerton alumnus.

Joyce is the first to be appointed to the Gianneschi professorship, named in honor of Cal State Fullerton’s former vice president for university advancement and founder of the campus’s Center for Nonprofit Research. A member of the campus community since May 2002, Joyce has written numerous articles about integrated marketing, entrepreneurial behavior in not-for-profit organizations and health marketing. She has served as a pro bono consultant with the Association for Donor Recruitment Professionals, American Association of Blood Banks and Carolina/Georgia Blood Center.

A Laguna Beach resident, Joyce holds a doctorate in business administration from the University of Kentucky.
