Outsourcing and Promotion for Family-Owned Businesses Are Subjects of May 18 Workshop

What: Is it good to market and promote your business as family-owned? What about outsourcing? Answers to these questions and others will be heard during the May 18 Cal State Fullerton College of Business and Economics’ Family Business Council workshop “Marketing and Promoting Your Family-Owned Business” and “Outsourcing for Family-Owned Business.”
   
Who:

Ronald Stein, vice president of business development, Principal Technical Services, will discuss traits of outsourcing and its impact on family businesses, employment and the economy.

Mike Trueblood, director of Cal State Fullerton’s Family Business Council and owner of TruMARKETING, will share his expertise in marketing and promotion.

   
When: 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 18

Additional: The Family Business Council, created in 1994, is a partnership between the business community and the university. Its mission is to enhance the well-being and survivability of Southern California family businesses by providing opportunities for education, interaction and information tailored to the needs and concerns of family businesses.
   
Upcoming: The council hosts monthly workshops on a wide range of topics.
