How Companies Grow Is Focus of
Dec. 8 Family Business Workshop

What: Robert M. Ornstein, director of strategic relations for Adizes USA, will discuss how family corporations grow and develop, and how owners can keep them dynamic and vital, during a Wednesday, Dec. 8, workshop sponsored by Cal State Fullerton’s Family Business Council.
   
When: 7:30 – 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 8
   
Where: Ayres Country Inn & Suites, 325 N. Bristol St., Costa Mesa
   
Additional: The Family Business Council, created in 1994, is a partnership between the business community and the university. Its mission is to enhance the well-being and survivability of Southern California family businesses by providing opportunities for education, interaction and information tailored to the needs and concerns of family businesses.
   
Upcoming: The council hosts monthly workshops on a wide range of topics, including “Making New Year’s Resolutions as Part of the Goal Setting for a Family Business” to be presented by Lee Hausner of DoudHausnerVistar on Jan. 11.
   
Cost: Free to first-time family business attendees interested in becoming a member of the Family Business Council. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Robbin Bretzing at 657-278-4182.
