This collage commemorates General Pham Van Phu, General Le Van Hung, General Nguyen Khoa Nam, General Huynh Van Hai, General Le Nguyen Vy, Colonel Ho Ngoc Can and Major Nguyen Van Long, who are considered contemporary Vietnamese heroes. They served their people until the very end, choosing to commit suicide rather than to surrender to their enemy.
