Cal State Fullerton launches its free
bus program for students, faculty, and staff with a
kickoff event Monday, Sept. 15. Attendees can visit information
tables for assistance with trip planning and details about bus
routes. |

Gordon and Greg Winterbottom, vice chairman of the Orange County
Transportation Authority. |

Background: |
The university’s Parking and Transportation
Services has teamed up with the Orange County Transportation
Authority to launch a University Pass program. Beginning Sept.
15, students, faculty and staff members with a valid TitanCard
can ride OCTA buses by swiping their TitanCard through the bus
farebox as they board. The program is free to riders and available
all day, every day. The U-Pass is valid for travel on all OCTA
routes to all destinations and is being funded by parking ticket
revenues. |
