Conference presented by Cal State Fullerton’s College

Anil K. Puri, dean of Cal State
Fullerton’s College of Business and Economics and co-director
of the university’s Institute for Economic and Environmental
Studies, has presented the annual forecast since its inception
in 1992. Puri is executive vice president of the Western Economic
Association International and a panel member for the National
Association of Business Economists’ Survey of Economic
Conditions. |

In addition to the forecast presentation, Puri
will participate in a panel discussion with Paul Folino,
chair and CEO of Emulex, and Larry Ainsworth,
president and CEO of St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, about the
outlook for their industries. |

“This is a time of particular uncertainty,
not only because of the upcoming national election and the different
policy positions of the two candidates, but also because of
the geopolitical situation,” said Puri regarding the importance
of the forecast for regional businesses. |
