concert band music by Sousa and Post. In 2003, the ensemble
toured Japan performing in Tokyo, at the Yamaha musical instrument
faculty near Hamamatsu, and for the Japan Band Director’s
Association annual clinic at Nemo-No-Sato. They have also
performed at the Fourth of July Celebration in Ribald, Denmark
and were invited to perform in Moscow for the 125th anniversary
of the Moscow Conservatoire of Music.
Larry Curtis is a distinguished educator and professional
conductor. His diverse musical background is exemplified by
his recent guest conducting engagements with the Pacific Symphony
Orchestra, the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, an “Imagination
Celebration” concert in conjunction with New York’s
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, a live concert broadcast
