Cal State Fullerton's College of Business and Economics to Honor Business Leaders During Presidents Month Salute

What/When: Three company leaders — two of whom are Cal State Fullerton alumni — will share their experiences in making a business grow and prosper, during Cal State Fullerton College of Business and Economics’ 10th annual Presidents Month Celebration Thursday, Feb. 26.

Who: Mitchell C. Brantley (B.A. business administration-marketing ’87), president, Pacific Snapple Distributors of Tustin

Richard Muth, president and partner, ORCO Block Co. Inc. of Stanton

Philip R. Schimmel (B.A. business administration – accounting ’76), managing partner, KPMG LLP, Los Angeles office

Why: “We honor these individuals for their business accomplishments and achievements,” said Katrin Harich, associate dean of the College of Business and Economics. “This event is an excellent opportunity for the honorees to serve as important role models for our students and to keep in touch with the college. Our faculty and students benefit tremendously from staying connected with the business world and its most successful leaders.”

Additional: The executives will teach classes, and meet with students and faculty members to discuss their background, experience and the skills necessary for success. The three will be honored at a luncheon and renew ties with former professors during an afternoon reception.
