We Want Your News
The Public Affairs Office welcomes news about university members, programs and events for sharing on campus, with news media and posting to the Web. We invite and depend on the campus community to submit information about accomplishments, projects, studies and upcoming activities.

News Submission
Use the form below to send us your news tips, public events information and other items, such as professional activities and announcements for Inside — the faculty, staff, emeriti magazine, also available online.

When you submit an item, we may contact you for additional details. We also will work with you to ensure that the message is accurate. Submitting event information early is always better. Three weeks advance notice is a good rule of thumb. Many newspaper and online calendars require a minimum of two weeks advance notice. Magazines have even longer lead times. In addition, our staff needs time to determine the most effective and appropriate strategies to publicize events and get the job done.

Public events typically will be included on the university’s online events calendar, and some also will be featured in Inside, on the Web and/or sent as news releases to media.
