Condom Distribution Nixed at Cal State Fullerton
LOS ANGELES (KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO) -- Student complaints have lead Cal State Fullerton officials to cancel a campus condom distribution campaign. 4,500 condoms were to be placed in individual copies of thestudent newspaper as part of a safe sex campaign. However, the graphic (seen above) accompanying the condoms offended some students, and they let school administrators know.
Instead, a coupon redeemable for a condom at the student center will be printed in the upcoming issue of the Daily Titan. Newspaper editors said the Daily Titan had already spent $800 dollars promoting the condom giveaway.
