Garden Club to meet

Cliff Meng, a member of the Orange County Cactus and Succulent Society, will be the guest speaker at the San Clemente Garden Club meeting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 7. He will demonstrate how anyone can create an interesting and beautiful bonsai from a unique group of succulents. This new and different approach enables the home gardener to produce a striking design.

Cliff is the organization's treasurer and is also the chairman of its Winter Show and Sale. Cliff and his wife have been growing cactus and succulents for more than 20 years. In his retirement, he also volunteers at the Fullerton Arboretum, and is a member of the Master Gardeners Society.
