CaribeVisión Appoint Don Parsons President Of Sales
CaribeVisión has appointed Hispanic media executive Don Parsons as its first president of sales. With more than 20 years of experience in executive leadership and sales roles, Mr. Parsons will be responsible for overseeing CaribeVisión’s sales force. The appointment is effective immediately and was announced today by Carlos Barba, President of CaribeVisión Holdings.
Parsons has held senior management positions at a number of high profile Hispanic media companies. He served as a senior vice president and general manager of Telemundo Group’s WNJU-TV Ch. 47 / New York and as vice president of marketing for all of Telemundo’s owned and operated (O&Os) television Stations. As well, Parsons served as a vice president at Univision (in New York) and was also vice president and general manager of KDTV— the company’s owned and operated TV station in San Francisco.
Most recently he served as general sales manager for Vista Magazine (an ImpreMedia Company). Parsons also served held regional sales manager positions with both Lieberman Broadcasting and Petry Latino/Netspan, which was a Carlos Barba Company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cal State, Fullerton and is fluent in both English and Spanish.
