CGI offers students with a Bachelor’s degree the opportunity to earn a MA or Doctoral degree. All CGI degree programs are fully approved in the State of California and fulfill the academic requirements for the psychology license issued by the California Board of Psychology or the Marital and Family Therapy (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Clinical Programs For Working Adults
CGI operates annually on a 3-trimester open enrollment schedule. Classes are held during the day, evenings, and on weekends. This flexible and very affordable format accommodates the personal schedules of students who have business and family responsibilities. CGI students come from a variety of cultural and professional backgrounds, and find meaning and purpose through studying the therapeutic process.

Our foreign accent improvement program is designed to help individuals improve their professional speaking skills. Problems arise in the workplace when listeners pay more attention to a speaker’s accent than to what is being said. Further, an accent can adversely influence advancement and promotion. For these reasons, an accent may be a source of concern or embarrassment. While foreign – born professionals are already adept at reading and writing in English, minimizing a foreign accent in spoken English may be of additional benefit. Our program is based on more than 20 years of linguist research and was designed specifically to aid in foreign – born individuals in improving their spoken English. The program was developed by Arthur J. Compton, PHD, Director, Institute of Language and Phonology in San Diego. We offer private tutoring to fit each client’s unique needs.

According to Anil Puri, dean of the College, plans for the future go beyond bricks and mortar, “We are planning to enhance and broaden our program offerings, including the MBA program and a ramp-up of our Business Honors Program.
