Vicki Marion has joined Plantronics as president of the Audio Entertainment Group overseeing the Altec Lansing brand of products.

Marion was president and chief executive officer of Jabra Corp. from 1996-2001, where she led the San Diego company through a turnaround. She was president and chief executive officer of Viadux Inc., where she repositioned the San Diego developer of broadband equipment to focus on cable and wireless enterprise markets. She held senior management positions at IRT Corp., a publicly held manufacturer of automated X-ray equipment, during its financial turnaround. Most recently, she was an angel investor, director and advisor for Rivet International, a San Diego developer of carrying solutions and headsets for mobile phones, music players and other digital devices.

She has a bachelor's degree in economics from Stanford University.

Scotts Valley-based Market Motive has added Future Now principal Bryan Eisenberg and Alan Rimm-Kaufman of the Rimm-Kaufman Group to its Internet marketing faculty.

Eisenberg is the author of two bestselling books, "Call to Action" and "Waiting for Your Cat to Bark" His expertise is in dissecting a Web site and explaining how each component can be improved.

Rimm-Kaufman, who will teach paid search strategy and tactics, writes a monthly column for Catalog Success magazine, blogs and lectures on direct marketing at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He has a doctorate in operations research from MIT and experience with direct marketing as a retailer at Crutchfield and Signet Bank.

Rick Williams has joined Residential Pacific Mortgage as a certified mortgage planning specialist in its Capitola branch.

A resident of Aptos and Capitola for 21 years. Williams is a graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. After serving in the Peace Corps in Colombia, he spent 25 years in high-tech international sales and six years with Aptos Mortgage as a loan consultant.

He is a certified CalPERS home loan agent and a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Aptos resident Richard Sutton has joined Pacific Inland Home Mortgage in Soquel as a senior mortgage consultant specializing in residential home loans.

A graduate of Cal State Fullerton with a degree in business and marketing, he holds a California real estate broker license.

Sutton has lived locally since 1983.

Jenaé Replogle has joined David Lyng Real Estate at its home office in Santa Cruz as a sales associate.

Born and raised in Santa Cruz County, Replogle earned a bachelor's degree at UC San Diego, returned to Santa Cruz and worked for several years in sales and marketing. She then earned a master's in business administration and worked as a recruiter for Google. She and her husband, Adam Replogle, have two daughters.

The Comic Book Legal Defense Fund has elected Joe Ferrara of Atlantis Fantasyworld as vice president.

Ferrara, who opened Atlantis Fantasyworld in 1976, has served on the board since 2005. He is the administrator of the Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailing Award.

He succeeds Greg Ketter of DreamHaven Books, who retired from the board after 18 years.
