Tigers kicked on road
The road remained unkind to the Pacific Tigers soccer team in Big West play.
After settling for a 1-1 draw in Riverside on Friday, the Tigers fell 3-0 at Cal State Fullerton on Sunday.
Pacific (6-5-3, 1-2-1) could not stop Brianna Buffington of the Titans (7-6-1, 2-2-0), as she scored two goals in the second half. Christian Murillo scored Fullerton's other goal.
Pacific managed nine shots on goal, but could not put one past Shayla Sabin, who made four saves. Jamie Souza had six saves for the Tigers.
Pacific will return home on Friday to host UC Irvine at 7 p.m.

At Stanford, the Tigers (3-10)were no match for the No. 4 Deamon Deacons (9-4) as Michelle Kasold scored twice. Rachel Taylor scored Pacific's lone goal.
MENS WATER POLO
Pacific splits
At Los Angeles, the No. 14 Tigers defeated No. 13 UC San Diego 16-11, but fell to No. 7 UC Santa Barbara 13-7 earlier in the day. Pacific finished 11th at the SoCal Tournament. Dragan Bakic had 10 goals on Sunday for the Tigers and Duje Kaurloto had six.
