Who's hot: RB Frank "The Tank" Summers has rushed for a combined 310 yards in the past two games, scoring three rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown.

Who's not: WR Casey Flair led the conference in receptions last year with 57 catches. He has 18 receptions in five games this season.

FYI: The 27-0 victory over Utah on Sept. 22 was UNLV's first in a conference opener since 1995. The shutout was only the second shutout of a conference foe by the Rebels. The first was a 13-0 triumph over Cal State Fullerton in 1983.

Coach speak: "The reality is we still have a ton to play for and a ton of hope." UNLV coach Mike Sanford, after a 27-20 loss Saturday to archrival Nevada.
